Our terms and conditions are currently being updated to reflect the recent Greek laws that will ensure the validity of any existent insurance policies.
Please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions before engaging in any boat rental services provided by San Stefano Boats. By proceeding with the rental, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Rental Agreement:
1.1. The rental agreement is formed between San Stefano Boats and the individual(s) listed as the renter(s) in the booking.
1.2. The renter(s) must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid motorboat driver’s license.
1.3. The renter(s) shall be responsible for the boat during the rental period and must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
2. Reservation and Payment:
2.1. To reserve a boat, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid prior to the rental period.
2.2. Payments can be made through the accepted methods specified by San Stefano Boats.
2.3. Prices and availability are subject to change without prior notice.
3. Cancellation and Refunds:
3.1. Cancellations made by the renter(s) must be notified to San Stefano Boats in writing.
3.2. The deposit is non-refundable, except in cases where San Stefano Boats is unable to provide the boat rental due to unforeseen circumstances.
3.3. Refunds for cancellations made within a specified time frame before the rental period may be subject to additional terms and conditions outlined by San Stefano Boats.
4. Boat Usage:
4.1. The renter(s) shall use the boat solely for recreational purposes and shall not engage in any illegal activities.
4.2. The renter(s) shall operate the boat responsibly and in accordance with all safety guidelines provided by San Stefano Boats.
4.3. The renter(s) shall not sublease, lend, or transfer the boat to any other party without prior written consent from San Stefano Boats.
5. Damage and Liability:
5.1. The renter(s) shall be responsible for any damage caused to the boat during the rental period.
5.2. San Stefano Boats reserves the right to charge the renter(s) for the cost of repair or replacement of any damages.
5.3. San Stefano Boats shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the renter(s) or any third party during the rental period.
6. Insurance:
6.1. San Stefano Boats provides third party insurance coverage for the boat and its equipment.
6.2. The renter(s) may be liable for a deductible in the event of an insurance claim.
6.3. The insurance coverage may be subject to specific terms and conditions outlined by the insurance provider.
7. Force Majeure:
7.1. San Stefano Boats shall not be held responsible for any delays, cancellations, or changes to the rental services due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions or technical failures.
8. Governing Law:
8.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Greece.
8.2. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.
